Annapolis Railings & Stairs has built a variety of fences around the Annapolis metropolitan area over the years, including Riva, Sherwood Forest, Severna Park, Edgewater and other communities. We have worked on commercial projects as well as residential homes.

Gates – The designs range from simple grills to gates with lots of detail such as a wrought iron confection. Wood and bronze can be combined in as elements as well.

Driveway Gate – These gates can be opened and closed by hand, or they can be built with motors and remote controls.

For Security or Decorative? – Some fences are more for ornamental purposes or to discourage access but not truly for security. Therefore, the materials used can change depending on the purpose.

Fence materials – Some companies use hollow aluminum pickets. We don’t recommend that because they are much less secure and not that much less expensive. Steel and wrought or forged iron are preferred. For the steel, we prefer solid, but you can also get hollow steel pickets. It is possible to combine in wood and bronze as well.
