Annapolis railings

Annapolis Railings & Stairs has worked on both residential and commercial projects, from small to large around the entire Annapolis, MD area. You can see a picture of one of our decks above. So, whether you need a deck or Annapolis porch, a balcony or a fire escape, give us a call.

Size doesn’t matter – (despite what they say) We are happy to work with you whether you have a small or a large project.

Welding for durability & strength – You don’t want to worry about the possibility of a deck or porch collapsing during a party with a lot of people on it. We meet or exceed all building codes and everything is welded for added strength. This also helps increase the lifespan of the product.

Balconies

can be little more than a window guard, sometimes called a Juliet balcony because of the scene in Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. Essentially just a balustrade or railing as a safety measure in front of a large window or possibly a door. Or balconies can be larger, cantilevered structures that can support several people.

Decks

can be at ground level or raised so they are at second floor level. They can be much larger than a balcony because the outer edges are supported with posts from the ground. Low or high, decks need bracing for structural stability. The high decks need more than the low because of greater possibilities for flexing and movement. The welded joints we use keep the decks solid and strong.

Fire Escapes

are typically required in commercial buildings and not in homes. They can be simple and very functional. Or, they can be more decorative and blend in to the rest of the building elements. For instance, they could be stairs coming down from a second floor deck. They can have stair railings that are more ornate and match the rest of the building so people wouldn’t even realize it was doubling as a fire escape.

To see what options you have for these stair railings (also known as banisters or balustrades) go to our Railings page.
